S.O.A.P., Saponification of All Paradigms, was an interactive installation that reflected on the use of flesh, body parts and skin in combination with soap material as metaphors for rescripting the spatial norms of the bath. Together with incredibly talented artist Milena, we used architectural sample fixtures to create a frankensteinesque atmosphere, that strengthened the theme of the exhibition while also showcasing the incredible details, such as gold flaking in some of the sculptures. The result, a chaotic yet coherent atmosphere of various temperatures and light levels for the exhibit at Dutch Design Week as well as the WDK exhibit that got her selected in the first place.
